Based on my one experience here I would never eat at Frank & Al's Pizza again. I ordered $40 worth of food for delivery on a non holiday, week night, living less than 2 miles from the restaurant... It took an hour to get delivered. The food ranged from only slightly warm to cold. All items were either pizza or fried food- everything was very low quality and cheap tasting, especially the pizza sauce. For the price, the food should have been much better. Even if it had been delivered in a timely manner, and warm to hot- it just wasn't good. Money wasted.

Been here twice now, and coming from an NYC resident, I gotta say, they've got pretty good pizza here. Nice, relaxed pizza-parlor atmosphere (casual: booths, you order at the counter). 2-for-1 drafts all day is a nice bonus - they've even got Peroni on tap. Sandwiches are also good - I got the veal parmigiana, and it was nice and tender, big and filling!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, ..... blah, blah, blah, I'm from NY too. Been her for 24 years and remember when Big Apple was the only game in town.......... Before slamming a restaurant for service, try a few in the area to make a comparison. Not many have what I'd call five star service! I think in many of these restaurants the owners need to stop employing their kids! Bottom line, service isn't that great, but our favorite take out pizza in St. Lucie West. Dinners are good too. Never had a problem with anything I've brought home. Reasonable prices compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. And it seems like they always have a crowd so they must be doing something right!

The food was just ok . Very average ... Certainly nothing to write home about . The cheesesteak lacked flavour and was very skimpy for the price . The roll reminded of the type of roll you would pick up from Publix . As far as the pizza goes ... Again , nothing to write home about . The pizzerias back in Buffalo , Ny are SO MUCH better !!! This place needs to step it up a couple notches for sure .

First let me say that I am from Brooklyn, NY and I know good pizza. Second, I am Italian. And Third, my husband and I own a pizzeria in Maryland for over 25 years. I am here in Florida visiting my parents. Desired a pizza so I ordered their white pizza. Sounded wonderful: Ricotta, Mozzarella and Garlic. I was envisioning my husband's wonderful white pizza that is to die for! We are old school mom and pop hand tossed pizza. My pizza is ready.... I lift the top to peek in the box and gasped! It looked nothing like I expected! There was a sea of mozzarella sitting on top of God knows what ricotta concoction beneath! I knew immediately I was not going to like it! Got home and tried it. The dough/crust was okay but the rest of it was pure garbage! I had to scrape the entire topping off and eat only the crust! It was the worst white pizza I ever had in my life!!! My husband puts dollops of the best ricotta onto the dough leaving spaces between them. Then you add fresh chopped garlic to that and then you add mozzarella with a light hand. The result is the most divine white pizza you ever had in your life! I intend to post a photo of my husband's white pizza when I get back to Maryland and you will see what a real white pizza is!

Food great, service not so much, either they are understaffed or just not service friendly, called on the way home from work to order ahead, I work 20 minutes away, was immediately put on hold and was not picked back up until I was within a mile of the place.....other time busy signal so we drove in to eat instead and found, when it's busy phone is off the hook...... Almost done trying with this place and it's too bad cuz the food is good.

Girl behind the counter was picking crusties out of her eyes. The other girl that was serving the pizza was constantly wiping her nose with her bare hand. The guys behind the counter that were cooking was busy putting mixing bowls on other employee's head!!!! So nasty & disgusted.

Best pizza available on the Treasure Coast. Super friendly staff at this location, right off I-95. It's always busy, but they have so many people buzzing around that the wait is minimal.

Really good lunch. We were close by for work today and the dining choices weren't that plentiful, we stumbled across this place and we were glad we did. All four of us ordered subs and all four of us demolished them. From Steak and Cheese to Chicken Parm everything was delicious. The bread was fresh and the portions were huge, so huge that only two of us were able to eat the included chips. Nice 2 for 1 beer specials.

All day every day 2 for 1 drafts- ordered 12 hot wings and and small pepperoni pizza to share. It is more than enough food and absolutely must try these wings- fresh, hot and delicious.

I Stop by frequently for a few slices of their Grandma Pizza. It is definitely the best around in a town that's flooded with franchise or buffet style pizzerias. Haven't really tried other menu items but the pizza is worth the trip.

Service was awful tonight (4/7/2013). Had to wait over 30 min for our food. It seemed that the staff was more worried about starting their closing duties as they closed off a portion of their limited seating. Worst service I've ever received from this restaurant. There is never a worst feeling when your in a restaurant, and folks that sat down way after you arrived and placed your order receive their food and start eating. I hope this will not be on ongoing trend, because they usually have great food and service.

Frank and Al's is a delicious place to have pizza. The pizza is absolutely wonderful here. This is one of our top favorites place to have pizza, why??? The sauce is perfect, they put the right amount of toppings and I never have a problem with their pizza. I will say that the pizza always takes about an hour for delivery, but this is the norm for all the places around here. The only thing I wish that I could change is that they have these breadstick twists and not real garlic knots.

Had sausage pizza tonight. The sauce had good flavor and sausage was good. It's hard to find good pizza in PSL but this place has it. The garlic knots were loaded with garlic very tasty, will be back

was looking for a good pizza place while my family was on vacation, so my wife found this place , we were staying in PGA village which was just a few miles away, i would give a 5 star on this but when you have highschool teenagers waiting on you it can be aggravating, they were slow and chatty with each other...... now to the food , the garlic knots are to die for !!!! and i ordered a stadium pizza not realizing how big it was, needless to say im now 40 and cold pizza for breakfast the next morning on vacation was awesome , anyhow i was a teenager once also and your supposed to sit back and relax on vacation so maybe im the issue with the 5th star , we will come back !!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
